Omo, one day my mama cook rice and put plenty meat inside pot. I enter kitchen, see one big piece of meat sitting on top. I look am. The meat look me. I already knew say na destiny. 😭 I dish my rice, carry the meat enter room, close door, lock am. I sit down dey enjoy. Suddenly my younger brother knock. “Bro, you get meat?” I say, “No.” He say, “I saw you carry meat enter here.” I say, “You saw wrong.” He say, “Open door.” I say, “Why?” He say, “I know you get meat.” I tell am, “Guy, leave me.” He leave. Two minutes later, my sister knock. “Have you seen the meat?” I say, “Which meat?” She say, “The big one.” I say, “I don't know anything.” She leave. Then my brother come back with my mum. My mum ask: “Did you take the last meat?” I look my mum. I look the plate. I look the meat. Then I say: “Honestly, I don't know how it got here.” My mum say: “Xylaraeth.” I say: “Yes ma?” She say: “Eat the meat.” I say: “Okay.” 😭😭😭 So I eat am right there. Everybody just dey look me. After I finish, my brother say: “You're wicked.” I say: “Wicked? You people brought witnesses to my room because of one piece of meat.” He say: “But you lied!” I say: “I didn't lie.” He say: “I asked if you had meat. You said no.” I said: “Exactly. I didn't have meat. The meat had me.” 😭💀 My mum just walked away. Till today, nobody understands what I meant. But I won the case. 😭
