Omo, one day I enter buka go buy rice. I give the woman ₦2,000. She dish my rice, give me meat, everything complete. Then she say: “Your change na ₦200.” I wait. She no give me. I say, “Aunty, my ₦200.” She say, “Oh, I never get change.” I say, “No problem.” I carry my food sit down. After like 10 minutes, I see another customer give her ₦500. She give the person change immediately. I look at her. She look at me. I say, “Aunty…” She say, “Yes?” I say, “You don get change now?” She say, “For that person change.” I say, “So my own ₦200 dey what? Spiritual realm?” 😭 She laugh and say, “I go give you.” I say, “No wahala.” I finish eating and stand up. She shout: “Brother! Your ₦200!” I turn back and say: “Keep am.” She say, “Keep am?” I say: “Yes. Since you’ve already kept it for 10 minutes, I don forget say na my money.” I waka out. Two seconds later she shout: “Brother, come collect your ₦200!” I shout back: “No need! Use am buy change for another person!” 😭😭💀 As I dey walk away, one man beside her start laughing. She shout: “Come back here!” I increase my speed. At that point, ₦200 had become a criminal offense. 🏃🏽♂️💀
