I just realize say I don become the person wey I dey pity. 😭 I reach food seller, price of rice na ₦2,500. I tell her, “Aunty, abeg reduce am.” She say, “Na ₦2,500.” I say, “Okay, pack half.” She say, “Half na ₦1,500.” I say, “Aunty… you dey use mathematics pursue me?” She just look me. I leave. On my way back, I see the same guy wey collect ₦200 from me. He dey buy shawarma. SHAWARMA. With chicken. And extra cheese. I stand there for like 45 seconds. He see me. I see am. He look away. I look away. At that point, something inside me died. I quietly walk up to am and say: “Guy… enjoy your meal.” He say, “Thanks boss.” I say, “No wahala.” Then I waka comot. But immediately I turn corner, I whisper: “God, I no dey ask for much. Just make his shawarma fall inside gutter.” 😭😭 Five minutes later, I hear: “AHHHHH!” I turn. The shawarma don fall.
