Omo, make I tell una how I nearly destroyed one friendship because of biscuit. 😭 My guy come my house one afternoon, see my biscuit on the table. He ask: “Bro, you fit give me one?” I say, “Take.” He collect one. Then he collect another. I look am. He say, “Na two I take.” I say, “No wahala.” Five minutes later, I check the biscuit pack. Half don disappear. I ask am: “Guy, you don chop how many?” He say, “Na just two.” I look at him. He look at me. I say, “Okay.” I didn't argue. I didn't complain. I just kept quiet. Two days later, he came back. He sat down and said: “Bro, abeg you get ₦2k? I go pay you tomorrow.” I smiled. I said, “Sure.” I opened my wallet. I counted the money slowly. ₦500. ₦200. ₦100. ₦50. Then I looked him dead in the eye. I said: “Bro… I get ₦850.” He said, “But you just said you get money.” I said, “I didn't say how much.” He started laughing. I said, “No vex.” He said, “Abeg give me the ₦850.” I gave him the money. He collected it and left. The next day, he came back and returned ₦2,000. I looked at him confused. He said: “Keep the change.” I said: “Which change?” He said: “Your ₦850.” I said: “Ahhhh… so you actually had ₦2k?!” He smiled. I smiled. We both stood there silently. Then I realized something. This friendship was no longer about money. It was psychological warfare. 😭💀 I went inside, opened my biscuit pack… He had already eaten the remaining half. At that point, I knew: This man was not my friend. He was my final boss. 😭😭💀
